Ottos Comprehensive remain upbeat in Under 16 School’s Football

The Cool and Smooth Joma Ministry of Sports Under 16 School League continued on Monday with wins for All Saints Secondary School, Ottos Comprehensive School and a draw between defending Champions Princess Magaret School and St. Joseph’s Academy.

Ottos Comprehensive School (OCS) defeated Clare Hall in a convincing 3-0 win over Clare Hall Secondary School (CHSS). Tafari Looby got the ball rolling with an early strike in the 7th minute. Shamoy Chiddick then took center stage, netting a brace with goals in the 14th and 32nd minutes to complete the scoring.

The All Saints Secondary School (ASSS) secured a comfortable 2-0 victory over Jennings Secondary School (JSS). Kamarlie Benjamin opened the scoring in the 15th minute, giving ASSS the early advantage. The lead was doubled after the break when Kymani Francis found the net in the 50th minute, ensuring his team walked away with all three points.

In the day’s most closely contested match, St Joseph’s Academy (SJA) and Princess Margaret School (PMS) played out a 1-1 draw. SJA took an early lead through Joshua James, who struck in the third minute. However, PMS fought back with Jahmarie George finding the equaliser, ensuring the points were shared in this tightly fought encounter.
