A number of teams enjoyed victories in the ongoing national netball league being hosted by the Antigua and Barbuda Netball Association on Sunday night.
Playing in the competition’s B Division, Wadadli Events Old Road defeated Curtain Bluff Old Road 28-15. For Wadadli Events, Karel Knight scored 25 from 30 attempts, Kiara Aska was perfect as she sank her only attempt while Lorenia Matthew scored two from four attempts. For Curtain Bluff, Joy Shaw scored 13 from 18 attempts while Kadeja Alexander netted two of five attempts.
Also in the B Division, Eastside Stingers defeated Defante Stingers 19-13. For East Side, Te’kiah Minott scored 18 from 40 attempts while Shania Limerick picked up one of her six attempts. For Defante, Deniah Henry scored five from 11 attempts while Inahne Isadore scored eight from 13 attempts.
There was victory for S W Electronics Black Lightning as well as they defeated Defante Stingers 19-17. For Black Lightning, Bryana Baptiste scored 14 from 21 attempts, Kika Josiah made good on four of her 13 attempts while Azalia Simon scored one from two attempts. For Defante, Jalika Pascal registered 13 of 21 attempts while Iszariah Lloyd scored contributed with four of nine attempts.
In the Mixed Division, Assassins defeated Go to Enterprises Flyballers 28-23. For Assassins, Michael Jeffers scored 14 from 22 attempts while Carl Kirby scored 14 from 19 attempts. For Flyballers, Molefi Joseph sank five from seven attempts, Randy Frederick scored 13 from 16 attempts and DeAndre Harris netted from of 10 attempts.
