Former champions, F&G Trading Cuties Ovals Ojays, kept themselves in the hunt for this year’s playoff title when they clinched game two of their Division One five-game Playoff Finals against LJ Stingerz at the JSC basketball complex on Tuesday night.

Ojays, after losing game one by nine points on Sunday, outscored Stingerz 80-78 to take the exciting contest by just two points.

Ojays’ charge was led by Central Basketball Association (CBA) player, Joshua Minner, who had 28 points and seven rebounds. Minner was assisted by veteran and former national player, Marlon Charles, who had 20 points.

Veteran player Bryan Matthew, who had only five points on the night, said it was a tough game but he welcomed the victory. The key, he said, is winning the crucial game three. We invite you to visit www.antiguaobserver.com and give us your feedback on our opinions.
