Nat Pan My Team and Green City both recorded victories earlier this week in the ongoing Myron “Percy” Phillip Invitational Football League.
Green City recorded the biggest win out of both teams as they trounced Citizenship by Investment (CIU) Young Warriors 4-1 on Tuesday afternoon in Golden Grove.
Carllon Warner was a goal shy of a hattrick for the victors, while teammate Darren Stevens contributed a single goal in their Group B encounter.
The fourth and final goal came as an own goal from Taysean Merrick.
Ketia Jarvis scored the lone goal for Young Warriors.
This is the third straight loss for Young Warriors in five showings.
Twenty-four hours earlier, Daddy Sweet Trucking-DNA Plant Nursery-Barnes Funeral Home-Hyaena Construction Nat Pan My Team (NPMT) edged out Bolans, 3-2.
The Group A match-up saw Lloyd Jeremy (8th), Stefan Smith (38th) and Alren Lewis (46th) hit home for the victors while an own goal by Watendy Grayman (5th) and a strike by Orlando Peters (42nd) were the goals for Bolans.
Matches will continue on Thursday at 5 pm as Grenades Youths will face off versus Hon. Maria Browne Sunday Runners.
