Police are following a number of leads into Monday night’s shooting death of Villa resident Albert “Pressure Man” Browne, but said, up to press time, they had no suspects.

Police spokesperson Senior Sergeant William Holder told OBSERVER media, “The police are following some leads at this time and we are appealing to the general public with any information to contact the nearest police station…If they don’t want to come to the police they should utilise crime stoppers hotline (800 TIPS {8477}).”

Although he did not single out any community, the officer said it has sometimes been difficult to get information about criminal activities when they occur in certain communities and he’s hoping for a change.

Browne, Prime Minister Gaston Browne’s 18-year-old nephew, was gunned down around 8:45 pm Monday while sitting in an unlit alley with other individuals near Lower St John’s Street, in the Point area.
