The police have issued another appeal for help in finding out who shot and killed businessman Campbell Jackson, and injured his son Jari Jackson and their friend Tevin George Thursday night.
The 66-year-old deceased, who operated a car rental business from his home in Green Bay, was pronounced dead on the scene.
Lawmen said that up to last night, they still did not have a suspect in their custody.
National footballer Jari Jackson and George sustained non-life-threatening injuries, the police said. They were shot in the right thigh and right shoulder respectively and treated at Mount St John’s Medical Centre.
Both men were conscious and alert when taken to hospital but could not offer police much details as to why they were attacked and who attacked them while they were seated on the steps outside the Jackson’s home around 10 pm.
Police sources said the assailant was slimly built and wearing a white vest.
The police said that anyone with further information should contact with the Gray’s Farm Police Station at 462-0841/562-6088, or call the Criminal Investigations Department at 462-3913/462-3914.
