The Leadership of the Democratic National Alliance (DNA) is calling for an in-depth independent review and accounting of the country’s Citizenship by Investment Programme (CIP).
The latest call comes on the heels of a decision by Canada to impose visa requirements on Antigua and Barbuda.
Political Leader of the DNA Joanne Massiah tells OBSERVER media that the government is sacrificing the country for CIP funds.
She says the visa requirement is a direct result of suspicions relating to the country’s CIP from the outside world.

Massiah is worried that other countries could take similar action against Antigua and Barbuda. The DNA’s political leader is calling for discussions with the people about the latest development.
