The nation is being asked to pray for the recovery of former OBSERVER media programme manager, Denise Francis, whose condition has been hovering between stable and unstable all day yesterday as she continues to receive care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at the Mount St John’s Medical Centre (MSJMC).
Francis, who is an employee of the Ministry of Sports, Culture, National Festivals and the Arts, was rushed to hospital early Saturday morning after what her relatives described as “crisis situation”. She had been complaining about a series of severe migraine headaches that began last Friday evening and continued into the next day.
Doctors have since performed several CT scans on her and have yet to determine the cause of the illness afflicting Francis.
At 6:30 pm Monday evening, her son, Maalik Edwards, sounding distraught, told OBSERVER media that his mother, “wasn’t doing too well”.
