Murder accused Kareem Richards will not be facing trial for another three months.

Richards appeared yesterday before Justice Colin Williams, represented by defence attorney Andrew O’Kola, for what was supposed to be the start of his trial.

He is accused of killing Jahijah Marshall of Christian Valley in February 2018.

Marshall was reportedly stabbed to death in Jennings during a fight which erupted from an argument over some sexist remarks.

The men were said to be sharing the same address when the incident occurred.

Reports are that Richards armed himself with a sharp object, which he used to inflict multiple stab wounds about Marshall’s body.

The case has been adjourned until April 29.

On Tuesday, another murder case was postponed to April 8.

That is the matter against Akeem Henry who admitted to killing 34-year-old Keon Carr late last year.

Carr was shot several times on December 27 2019, moments after leaving his mother’s Christian Street, Gray’s Farm, home.

He was pronounced dead shortly after being taken to hospital that night.
