More illegal drugs found at the airport

A FedEx package containing $8,000 worth in marijuana was discovered at the V.C.Bird International Airport this afternoon.
Officers attached to the Narcotics department and K-9 Unit made the discovery during a routine check of the Customs Bonded Warehouse at about 4.30 p.m.
The cannabis was stashed in two vacuum-sealed packages inside a cardboard box.
The police say the Class-B substance came from New York, and weighed two pounds.
The drug was seized and taken to Police Headquarters pending further investigations into the matter.
Just a little over a week ago, police seized over $1 million worth of drugs at Customs Cargo in two separate incidents.
Calvin Donaldson of Jennings is before the court to answer charges coming out of one of those incidents.
