Ministry to probe alleged sex tape

The Ministry of Education said it will be mounting an investigation into allegations that a “sex tape” involving two secondary school students has been making the rounds on social media.
The video, which was first posted on the Facebook page of Troll Antigua, but was subsequently removed, showed a male and a female, dressed in school uniform, kissing and gyrating in what appears to be sexual intercourse.
Yesterday, the Director of Education, Clare Browne, told OBSERVER media that he got word of the alleged sex tape on Tuesday. “I have heard about it but I have yet to see that video,” he said.
Browne said that an investigation will be launched into the matter, starting at the secondary school in question.
“Once there is anything that is going around that involves students, we will investigate,” he explained.
