Richie’s Shooterz were the biggest winners in the Cool & Smooth-sponsored Business Basketball League on Saturday after recording a blowout 106-44 triumph over Eye Mobile Vision Care when they met in the feature contest of a triple-header at the JSC basketball complex.
Nickon McGregor led the charge for Shooterz with a triple-double, sinking 23 points, grabbing 12 rebounds and dishing out 13 assists. Ariel Quallis was also in fine form for the victors, collecting 20 points and dishing out four assists, while Tavarus Benta and Cohen DeSouza both had 17 points. Benta also had five assists and four steals. There was a contribution of 13 points from Kwame Brathwaite. Tahajron Davis was the top scorer for Eye Mobile with 12 points.
In Saturday’s second clash, Sandals were 79-35 winners over Christos Supermarket United. Keroi Lee was the top performer for Sandals with 20 points, nine rebounds and five assists. Adissa Harris had 19 points, five assists and four steals, while T-Shawn Lewis sank 13 points, grabbed 10 rebounds, handed out six assists and effected seven steals. Daijon George top scored for Christos Supermarket United with 20 points.
In the opening contest, Board of Education (BoE) beat Lion Feast 59-48. Dalelonte Phillip carried the brunt of the scoring for the winners with 19 points while grabbing 10 rebounds. Xavier Meade chipped in with 11 points and eight rebounds, also for BoE.
Baldwin Anthony Jr was the top performer for Lion Feast, sinking 20 points, grabbing 11 rebounds and getting three blocks. Adrian Carnegie chipped in with 13 points.
