Marijuana seized off English Harbour boat

The seized marijuana

The Office of National Drug and Money Laundering Control Policy (ONDCP) is reporting the seizure of 150 pounds of compressed cannabis from a boat in English Harbour, on Tuesday.

Assisting the officer with the investigation in connection with the seizure of the illegal drug are five people, three of whom are nationals of St Vincent and the Grenadines.

These three, the release from the ONDCP said, will be charged for illegally entering the country.

Meantime, the ONDCP has seized the vessel on which the drugs were found.

The raid was conducted with the help of the Coast Guard.
