Man charged in airport drug bust

One of two men who were arrested earlier this week in connection with a drug bust at the V.C. Bird International Airport, has been charged.
The police said they charged 40-year-old Calvin Donaldson of Jennings with possession of four pounds of cannabis, being concerned in the supply of cannabis and importation of cannabis.
Donaldson and another man were taken into custody on Monday, after police K-9 dogs detected four pounds of cannabis hidden inside Amerijet Airlines’ storage room at the Customs Cargo.
The other male, who was assisting lawmen with their investigations was later released from custody, the police said.
