The state of the two Magistrates’ Courts on island was evidently unsatisfactory to both workers and residents who conduct business at those locations, a situation led to the temporary relocation of both.
Earlier this year, the All Saints Magistrate Court was relocated to the Transport Board Headquarters in Herberts, while the St. John’s Magistrates’ Court moved to the Gray’s Green Community Centre to facilitate the rehabilitation of their original premises.
However, according to the Minister of Works, the St. John’s Magistrates’ Court building on High and Temple streets may not only receive a facelift, but a total upgrade.
