There were quite a few low scoring matches in both divisions of the Cool and Smooth Joma Inter Schools Under 16 and Under 20 Netball played at the YMCA on Wednesday.
In the Under 16 Division, Irene B Williams overwhelmed Sir Novelle Richards Academy 24 to seven, while Clare Hall Secondary blasted the Princess Margaret School 22 to six, and rounding out the matches in the division Antigua Girls’ High School (1) defeated Christ the King High School (CKHS) 5-2.
However, CKHS bounced back in the Under 20 division to beat Ottos Comprehensive 11-3 while Antigua State College were victorious over IBWSS.
In the Cool and Smooth Joma Ministry of Sports Inter School Volleyball Tournament, AGHS beat PMS in two straight sets with scores of 15 – 6 and 15 – 6 while CKHS also beat Jennings Secondary School in straight sets with scores of 15 – 8 and 15 – 7. On Friday, Island Academy will come up against Clare Hall Secondary School in the Female Division while Island Academy (2) will play ABICE in the Male Division.
