Lion Feast were huge 81-51 winners over United when they met in the opening game of a triple-header in the Cool & Smooth-sponsored Business Basketball League on Wednesday at the JSC Basketball Complex.
Adrian Carnegie led the scoring for the victors with 28 points and five steals. There were contributions of 18 points, seven rebounds and eight steals from Delornje Jules and 14 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists from Baldwin Anthony. Neville Chambers led the scoring for United with 12 points while grabbing nine rebound.
In Wednesday’s feature contest, Sandals defeated Sledge O’s 64-43. Keroi Lee was the top performer for Sandals with 22 points and 13 rebounds. Adissa Harris contributed with 17 points, five rebounds, seven assists and six steals, while T-Shawn Lewis hit 14 points and grabbed five rebounds. Deon Jules top-scored for Sledge O’s with 14 points.
In the other match contested Wednesday, Antigua Power Company (APC) had the better of Lava Smoke Shop 52-39. Tristan Jacobs and Sergio Symister both had 12 points for APC while Lincoln Weeks picked up 19 points for Lava Smoke Shop.
