Kidney donor horor

Trinidad – Six years after Good Samaritan Kasim Khan donated one of his kidneys to a complete stranger he is still in pain and has suffered three hernias. 
In those six years, 51-year-old Khan lost his job as a driver, had two additional surgeries to correct two hernias and still never regrets his decision to save the life of a young child he only knew through a media story.
“I do not ever regret giving that child my kidney. I only want to warn people to get everything in writing from the doctors before they undergo something like this,” Khan said told the Express.
Back in November 2011, Khan read about a young child who was in desperate need of a kidney and took the brave decision to donate one of his own.
