Two junior cyclists will fly the flag of Antigua and Barbuda over the weekend at the Junior Caribbean Cycling Championships in Guyana.
Renee Gayral Jr and David Simmons were the two athletes chosen to compete.
Gayral Jr is no stranger to competing on the regional scene as just a few weeks earlier he finished third in the Junior class in Anguilla. The former Junior Sportsman of the Year nominee will compete in both the Time Trials today and the Road Race on Sunday.
Simmons will compete in the Road Race only.
It will be the final year both men will compete in the Juniors category.
Both Simmons and Gayral flew out of Antigua for Guyana yesterday.
