Jumby Bay crowned Business Volleyball champions

Jumby Bay were crowned the Hadeed Motors Ltd. Antigua and Barbuda Amateur Volleyball Association (ABAVA) Business League champions over the weekend.
After a one-year hiatus, the former champions reclaimed their title Sunday night at the YMCA Volleyball Indoor facility.
Jumby Bay edged out APUA 2-1 in the best of three sets finals, winning 22-25; 25-22; 15-9.
Newbies, Cliff Hangers ended their debut with a third-place finish.
The newbies, defeated Sandals in straight sets, 25-21; 25-17.
A number of individual awards were also given for the most improved players.
Allain Mealmont of 77 Bus Service, Rana Chastanet of Antigua Commercial Bank, Sabina Rodriguez of ABIIT, Jumby Bay’s Dean Williams, Scotiabank’s Mitchell Lay and Jeamie Archibald of ECAB all received awards for their improved performances.
