Joseph strikes four as Tamo FC blasted 8-1 by Belmont

Javier Joseph helped his side, Belmont FC, secure a massive win over TAMO FC, winning by a scoreline of 8-1 in the Antigua and Barbuda Football Association Second Division on Thursday. The striker scored a total of four goals, registering his first goal in the 20th minute, before fellow teammate Joshua Blenman added his only goal in the 23rd. Joseph would follow up to score his second goal of the match in the 30th minute, before fellow teammate Malique Edwards scored in the 39th to end the first half with 4-0 scoreline.

The second half saw Devon Fitzmore add more pain to TAMO FC’s misery when he scored an own goal in the 53rd. Joseph then registered his hat-trick in the 58th minute, before Je t’aime Barrett scored in the 65th, with the scoreline reading 6-1 in favour of the Belmont side. Shemar Charles scored in the 77th, before Joseph scored his final goal of the match in the 79th to give Belmont FC another win for the season.

Another encounter saw CPSTA Wings beat Glanvilles 3-0, with Jahte’ Sheppard scoring in the 27th, as Ashane Mattison scored an own goal in the 38th, while Lake Joshua found the back of the net in the 73rd.

The encounter between Blackburn Palace and West Ham FC saw the Palace side winning 3-1. A brace from Chelsey Simon made the difference for the winners as they were down to ten men due to a red card given to Stephen Whyte in the 67th. After a scoreless first half, Blackburn drew first blood in the 52nd minute via a Diondre Harrigan strike but Anderson Herbert provided the equalizer in the 63rd minute. With scores drawn at one all, Simon provided the deadlock breaker in the 66th minute and completed the brace in the 85th minute. There were a total of six yellow cards and one red card given in the match.

Another encounter between Blizzard FC and Earthquakes saw Blizzard winning 1-0, thanks to an own goal by Alren Lewis of Earthquakes.
