Last year’s runners-up, F and G Trading Jets picked up another win in the second round of the Antigua and Barbuda Amateur Volleyball Association (ABAVA) League. Playing in the female division at the YMCA Volleyball Indoor facility, Jets after forfeiting the first set 25-0 to Neil Cochrane Da Squad rallied to win the next three sets in grand fashion to secure the win, claiming the sets, 25-11, 25-12, 25-23.
North Coast Hardware (NCH) Starz Nova joined Jets in the winner’s circle winning in straight sets over Neil Cochrane De Lioness Squad, 25-7, 25-8, 25-13. Games will continue on Wednesday at 6:30 pm as NCH Starz Nitro will battle Stoneville, while in the male division High Flyers will face off versus Goldburn Heavy Equipment Storming Lions.
