F and G Trading Jets and High Flyers ended their 2019 Antigua and Barbuda Amateur Volleyball Association (ABAVA) League campaign with victories.
Playing last Thursday at the YMCA Volleyball Indoor facility, Jets, who were last year’s runners-up in the Female Division, defeated Stoneville 3-1 in sets, winning, 21-25, 25-17, 25-18 and 25-8.
Jets now hold a 10-1 record while Stoneville are 5-8.
High Flyers quickly joined Jets in the winner’s circle after trouncing Sharks in straight sets, winning, 25-17, 25-18, 25-8 in the Male category to move to a 7-5 record.
Sharks, however, now hold a 2-10 record.
The top four teams in both divisions will advance to the President’s Cup which is scheduled to spike off on Monday and end on July 6th.
Matches will play nightly at 6:30 and 7:30 respectively.
