Jennings United, Real Blizzard win in FA’s Second Division

Jennings United FC and Real Blizzard were winners in the Antigua and Barbuda Football Association (ABFA) Second Division when action continued in the lower tier on Tuesday.

United recorded the largest margin of victory on the day with a 4-0 triumph over Master Ballers. Shaquille Watkins and Daryl Mossicoto both scored twice to secure the three points for their team. Watkins netted in minutes three and 53 while Mossicoto had goals in minutes 22 and 90.

Meanwhile, Real Blizzard stunned CPTSA Wings 2-0 to take maximum points from the contest. Malachi Ramsey opened the scoring opened the scoring in the 16th minute before Amos Christian sealed the deal in minute 77. 

In the other Second Division match contested Tuesday, ABAYA FC and English Harbour FC played to a 2-2 draw. Uriah Turner and Nigel Smith scored for ABAYA in minutes three and 24 respectively, while Wayne Phillip and Nigel Graham were on target for English Harbour in minutes 16 and 38.

In the lone First Division match, Bendals and JSC Progressors shared points in a 2-2 draw. An own goal by Anjis Anthony put Progressors ahead before Jahbendigo Jacobs hit back for Bendals in the 73rd minute. Bendals went ahead just four minutes later through a 77th minute conversion by Darren Stevens but Jahquane Richards netted in the 80th to salvage a point for Progressors.
