Four top students of Jennings Primary received their long-awaited prizes at a graduation ceremony early Tuesday afternoon.
Students who had achieved top scores at the end of their time at Jennings Primary School between 2020 and 2023 were given $1,000 each by Hon. Molwyn Joseph, Minister of Health, Wellness & The Environment.
The Minister explained that due to Covid-19, the school’s graduation, which he had been a yearly supporter and attendee of, had been placed on hiatus.
Despite this, he ensured that all top students who would have accomplished top achievements in their academics during that time were given the same treatment as their predecessors.
He also shared that from next year, top achievers will be given $1,500 as a reward for achieving top scores.
