Jacobs, not Lewis to lead CAC team

Kenny Jacobs.

In a story headlined “Bodybuilding Federation Faces CAC Visa Challenge” published on 12 September it was mentioned that “national champion Kenny Lewis will lead the country’s team to Mexico”.

The national champion is, in fact, Kenny Jacobs, who is set to lead the country’s team to Mexico later this month where they will compete at the Central American & Caribbean Championships.

The previously announced seven-member team has since been reduced to six after former national champion Orson Martin pulled out of the championships owing to the “high out of pocket cost”.

The other members of the team are heavyweight contender and former champion Ollyn Martin, lightweight champion Elvis Bailey and classic bodybuilding winner and first time competitor Bernard Percival.

Bikini champion Kimberly Ephraim and CAC first-timer Sher-Rhonda Braithwaite round off the selections for the annual competition.
