Invincible Stars Club record big wins

The Invincible Stars Netball Club celebrated a number of victories on Wednesday night in the Open Division of the Antigua and Barbuda Netball Association (ABNA) League.

Playing at the YMCA Sports Complex, Invincible Stars A trounced Pacesetters B 40-12 in the first match of the double-header evening.

Former national player, Mikkila Willis led the victors, sinking 31 of her 46 attempts, while teammate Kizzy Hughes scored seven of 10.

Krizia Duncan netted seven of her 18 attempts for Pacesetters while Kahtalia Valentine banked four of 11.

The B team joined their clubmates in the winner’s circle after recording a 31-8 thrashing over Chuka’s Construction Fly Ballers.

Mary Jane Grant sank 13 of her 22 attempts for the victors, while teammate Kizzy Hughes made 13 of 20.

Kimisha Williams assisted, scoring five of eight.

Meanwhile, in the other match played that night, Hon Michael Browne Black Lightning defeated Massy United Grays Green, 24-16.

Shermiah Pacquette led the victors, sinking 23 of her 31 attempts, while Tyea Ladoo and Adina Andre both scored seven for Grays Green.
