Invincible Stars continued to make an impressive run in the A Division of the Antigua and Barbuda Netball Association (ABNA) league as they picked up yet another victory on Tuesday night at the YMCA Sports Complex.
The Stars overpowered Massy United Grays Green Tigers from the beginning, trouncing them 35-9, in the first match-up that evening.
They were led by Esther Samuel who drilled 24 of her 34 attempts.
Seymone Parks assisted by netting 11 of her 15 attempts.
Youngster, Adina Andre of Grays Green sank 9 of her 14 attempts.
Sagicor Life Enforcers also found themselves in the winner’s circle as they edged out Running Rebelz, 30-27.
Experience truly overpowered youth in the feature encounter that night despite a 25-point effort by Amey Lake.
Enforcers would not be outdone as Sharon Francis led them to their second straight win with her 29 points, stunning a depleted Rebelz team.
Cool and Smooth Pacesetters won by default over Senator Collin James Black Lightening who failed to field a team.
Matches will continue today in the Mixed division as Sagicor Life Enforcers will face Running Rebelz at 7 p.m.
Also at 7 p.m., Hon. Asot Michael Parham and Invincible Stars will do battle, while at 8:30 p.m., Cool and Smooth Pacesetters will play Roof Masters Plus Attackers and Massy United Grays Green Tigers will meet Sen. Collin James Black Lightening.
