Icons took a one-game lead in their best of three finals series against ECAB when they clashed in the Business League Volleyball Championships Finals at the indoor volleyball facility located at the YMCA Sports Complex on Tuesday night.
Contesting the first game of a double-header, Icons claimed a 2-1 sets triumph over their rivals, rallying to take back to back sets after going down in the opening set. ECAB won the opener 25-19 before Icons claimed the second set 25-17. Icons returned to dominate the third set 15-10.
Meanwhile, in the bronze medal opener, Nates Photography blanked APUA Inet 2-0 in sets to take a 1-0 series lead. They triumphed 25-21 and 25-22.
