Icons and ECAB will clash in the opening game of their best of three finals series in the Antigua and Barbuda Amateur Volleyball Association (ABAVA) Business League Volleyball Championships on Tuesday night at the body’s indoor facility located at the YMCA Sports Complex.
The two teams earned the right to play in the finals following wins in the semifinals round of the competition on Saturday.
Icons had the better of APUA 2-0 in sets, winning 25-20 and 25-17 while ECAB beat Nate’s Photograph 2-1 in sets to earn their place in the finals. ECAB, after losing the first set 25-21, rebounded to win two straight sets with scores of 25-15 and 15-11.
Nate’s Photography and APUA will clash in the third place battle starting at 7:00 pm with the finals following the third place clash.
