The newly crowned ABAVA Business League champions ICONS continued their impressive run of form on Saturday securing a convincing straight-sets victory over the All Stars in the tournament’s exhibition match. The champions demonstrated their superiority with a commanding 25-11, 26-24 performance.
Earlier in the evening, the bronze medal match saw a competitive battle between Nate’s Photography and APUA INET, with APUA INET emerging victorious in a hard-fought three-set encounter (24-26, 21-25, 12-15).
Icons’ dominant display in both the championship series, where they secured a clean sweep against ECAB, and their subsequent performance in the All-Star match, underscores their exceptional season in the 2024 Business League Volleyball Championship.
The event, sponsored by Frank B Armstrong and Subway, showcased the high level of volleyball talent within Antigua’s business community, with the day’s matches providing fitting conclusion to this year’s championship tournament.
