Hot Tool had much to celebrate on Wednesday afternoon in the Denfield “Tody” Thomas Memorial league in Liberta as they secured the final spot to advance to the next round of matches.
The lone encounter in the small goal league saw Hot Tool flex their muscles on The F team, winning the match-up by an impressive 4-1 margin pushing them to 12 points in second position in Group B.
Wesley “Humpy” Glasford, Kimoi Alexander, Brandon “Giggs” James and Juvan “Blue” James all found the back of the net for the victors while Howard Montique was the lone goal-scorer for The F.
It was a day to forget for Fort Road Under-20 in the Fort Road football league as they fell to Nat Pan My Team, 6-1 in the lone encounter.
Joshua Arias led the victors in scoring as he found the back of the net twice, just a goal shy of a hattrick. Teammates, Akeem Warrick, Shakima Jno-Paul, Kenneal Davis and Jason Benjamin also scored for the victors, adding to the agony for FR Under 20.
Jetaime Dyer was the lone goal-scorer for FR Under 20.
Meanwhile in the Anderson E. Carty Grays Green football league, Jennings and Master Ballers played to a one-all draw while Villa Lions defeated Cutting Edge 2-0.

In the other Zone 3 match-up played at the King George V Ground, El Guapo edged out John Hughes, 1-0. Ratijah Davis scored the winning goal in the 32nd minute.
