High Court blocks release of Voter Photo List on privacy grounds

The High Court has rejected a Freedom of Information request by UPP’s Alister Thomas seeking access to the 2023 voter picture list.

In the ruling, Justice Jan Drysdale determined that protecting privacy, particularly preventing risks of identity theft and harassment, outweighs the need for public disclosure.
