Heritage hammer EMS, Dews draw with Jolly Beach

Heritage Hotel recorded the biggest win over the weekend in the ongoing Cool and Smooth PIC Insurance Business Football league.

The victors handed Emergency Medical Services (EMS) a 5-0 defeat in their Zone 1 encounter on Saturday afternoon.

Tamalie Thomas recorded a brace for the victors while Kamia Browne and Kamalie Looby also found the back of the net.

Defending champions, Dew’s Vipers were held to a one-all draw by Jolly Beach hotel in their Zone 4 match-up, while former champions, West Indies Oil Company (WIOC) suffered the same fate with a one-all draw versus Public Works Department (PWD) Hot Mix.

In the other matches played that day, Hermitage Bay hotel defeated Starfish Halcyon Cove 3-1, Eric’s Trucking Sugar Apple Catering edged out APUA Head Office, 3-2, while Verandah Pirates beat Anjo Wholesale 4-2.

APUA Telecommunications edged out the Ministry of Agriculture, 1-0, Gail Christian Law Enforcers defeated Jumby Bay Island, 3-1, while CHAPA Bulldozers went under to Sandals, 3-1.

Blue Waters edged out Brownie’s Bread Shop, 4-2, Antigua Rainforest Company and AS Bryden’s & Sons Ltd played to a one-all draw and KFC edged out Dixie FC United, 3-2.

Young Farmers trounced St James’s Club 2-0, Galley Bay went under to Ministry of Tourism 2-0, Antigua and Barbuda Transport Board (ABTB) beat Bryden Food Service Department, 3-1 while Antigua and Barbuda Airport Authority (ABAA) went under to Curtain Bluff Hotel 1-0.

High Ballers Construction played to a three-all draw with former champions, Kennedy’s Blue Diamonds, while National Parks Authority edged out Royalton, 3-2.
