Striker Alan Henry recorded the first double-hattrick of the 2024 Cool & Smooth/Joma sponsored Schools Football Competition as he led Princess Margaret School (PMS) to a massive 10-nil victory over Pares Secondary School (PSS) in the Boys Under-14 Division on Tuesday.

Henry, named MVP of the match, recorded goals in minutes six, 10, 20, 26, 29 and 46 as PMS dominated the fixture from start to finish. Henry was ably assisted by Jaheedi Charles (37), Ethan Barton (29), Tequan Samuel (4) and Colin Wright (49) who all scored once.

There was victory as well for St Anthony’s Secondary School (SASS) as they beat Sir Novelle Richards Academy (SNRA) 3-0. Chance DeGannes led the charge for SASS with a double, scoring in minutes 12 and 17, while Elijah Cenac netted in the 15th.

The Antigua Grammar School (AGS) also enjoyed a three-nil triumph when they met St Mary’s Secondary School (SMSS). Game MVP Tafari Parker found the back of the net twice with strikes in minutes 13 and 15. Kissaire Joseph recorded the other goal on minute 40.

Clare Hall Secondary School were also winners on the day, as they edged All Saints Secondary School 2-1. Tevon Henderson scored both goals for Clare Hall, finding the back of the net in minutes 23 and 24 while Lakome Francis scored the lone goal for All Saints in minute 20.

Also on Tuesday, St Joseph’s Academy (SJA) and Ottos Comprehensive School (OCS) played to a 2-2 draw. Tajae Samuel scored both goals for SJA with strikes in minutes 26 and 38 while there was a goal each from Jahmario Roberts and Lijthaddeus Christian for OCS.
