According to CANA, police in Guyana say one person is assisting their investigation into the stabbing death of a 15-year-old school boy on Thursday.
The authorities said that Derril Wong, was allegedly stabbed to death during an incident in the East Coast Demerara.
“Initial investigations have revealed that the deceased and the suspect were in a yard when an argument ensued,” the police said.
Wong was found with stab wounds about his body. He was rushed to the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
