Two people are in custody helping police with their investigation into the discovery of guns and ammunition in a barrel at the port.
The individuals are said to be the brokers who were hired to clear the container.
OBSERVER media understands the individual to whom the barrel was addressed, has not been found.
Reports are that around mid-morning yesterday, a customs officer discovered two guns and scores of bullets in the barrel that also contained food and other items.
Comptroller of Customs Raju Boddu says he cannot comment on the matter and neither can he release any details about the discovery.
