Greenbay United remain undefeated

Anderson E. Carty Greenbay United pushed their undefeated streak to 4-0 after defeating Grenades Youths 5-1 on Sunday afternoon in the Myron “Percy” Phillip Invitational Football League in Golden Grove.

Adrian Lyne recorded a brace for the victors while teammates Calvin Goodwin, Jamieson Peters and Tony Thomas hit home with goals of their own.

Timothy April was the lone goal scorer for Grenades Youths.

United remain on top of the Group B seven-team standings with 12 points while Grenades Youths remain at the bottom of the table with a single point.

Bolans joined United in the winner’s circle that same day as they defeated El Guapo 2-0 in their Group A encounter.

Andrew Martin was a goal shy of a hattrick for the victors.

With this win, Bolans moved to second on the seven-team standings with seven points, while El Guapo dropped to sixth with one point after three showings.
