Green leads Tigers to Cup victory

Striker Keon Green struck twice as Potters Tigers cruised to a 4-2 victory over Real Blizzard in Group F of the Antigua and Barbuda Football Association (ABFA) President’s Cup on Tuesday.
Playing at Potters, Green scored his team’s first and final strikes, hitting the back of the net in minutes 14 and 61 respectively as they moved to the top of the group. Omari Henry netted in minute 29 and Ordel Samuel scored in minute 42 to help Potters to their opening victory.
Real Blizzard had goals from Silvester Joseph in minute 36 and Kamarley Richards in minute 66.
Meanwhile, Fort Road also celebrated an opening victory, beating neighbours and rivals Point West Ham 2-1 when they clashed at Dredge Bay.
Omar Samuel scored both goals as Fort Road moved to the top of Group H after just the lone outing.
In the other match played on Tuesday, 5 P’s Wadadli FC claimed a 2-1 victory over Young Warriors to go atop Group 4.
Meanwhile, FC Aston Villa won by default over Glanvilles in Group 9.
