Green Bay man sentenced

Darren Roberts, also known as “Danger” of Buckleys Street Green Bay, was convicted and sentenced to five and a half years at Her Majesty’s Prison on multiple firearms, ammunition and drug related charges in the St John’s Magistrate’s Court on Thursday.
He appeared before Chief Magistrate Joanne Walsh and pleaded guilty to all the charges and was sentenced to two years in prison for Possession of one modified 12 Gauge shot Gun, one 9mm Beretta Pistol  and one modified Flare Gun.
He was further sentenced to an additional two years for Possession of thirteen 9mm rounds of ammunition, one .4mm round of ammunition, four 12 gauge cartridges, eighteen .22 live rounds of ammunition, one hundred and four .22 blank rounds of ammunition and two modified flare gun cartridges.
Roberts was ordered to pay a fine of $7,000 forthwith or 18 months in prison for Possession with intent to transfer one pound of cured Cannabis and eight Cannabis plants.
The sentences are to run consecutively.
