Public servants still awaiting pay from the government for the month of June can expect to receive their money today.
Gaston Browne, Prime Minister of Antigua and Barbuda, said that he was aware of the issue and he has contacted the chief financial officer at the treasury department to address it promptly.
Government employees have been upset over the delay in the payment of the payroll which is to occur at the end of each month.
Yesterday, an anonymous source said that the Antigua Commercial Bank (ACB) told them that they had not received notice from the treasury department.
