The leaders in the Antigua and Barbuda Football Association’s Second Division, Seaview Farm, suffered a 2-1 defeat on Monday when they faced off against Golden Grove.
The home side was the first to score in the seventh minute when Stephen Hughes gave Golden Grove the early advantage, as he scored the only goal of the first half.
In the second half, Tyler Anthony was on target with a successful strike as he found the back of the net to put his side two nil in the 71st minute. However, three minutes later Rhezal Gomes pulled a goal back for Seaview Farm to end the match 2-1.
The match was also plagued with indiscipline as five yellow cards were issued, with four belonging to the victors.
The other match, played between Bethesda and Young Lions, ended with a one-all draw. Zavier Joseph of Young Lions and Chunsae Martin of Bethesda were the goal-scorers.
