On Friday, the ABFA Second Division Football produced an extraordinary showcase of one-sided football, with two matches yielding a remarkable combined total of 21 goals. Two other scheduled fixtures had to be postponed.

At Seaview Farm, the home side demonstrated relentless attacking brilliance in an 11-0 demolition of Young Warriors FC. The onslaught began early when Rhezal Gomes opened the scoring in the 6th minute, setting the stage for what would become a historic afternoon.

The spotlight, however, belonged to Markland Wright, who delivered a dazzling performance, finishing with an exceptional five-goal performance. Wright’s goals came in a devastating 23-minute spell (10′, 12′, 18′, 21′, 33′), showing his ruthless efficiency in front of goal. Gomes would add his second in the 27th minute, while Aijalon Joseph joined the scoring party in the 32nd minute as Seaview Farm took an 8-0 lead into halftime.

The second half saw no respite for Young Warriors as Aaron Abbott (55′), Ajazze Edwards (64′), and Justin Hilaire (71′) added their names to the scoresheet, completing the comprehensive victory.

Meanwhile, at Pigotts, Bluejays FC matched their counterparts’ scoring exploits with an equally impressive 10-0 victory over Herberts FC. The Bluejays’ attacking trio of Maleke Francis, Kishorn Hamilton, and Ti-Zone Matthew proved unstoppable throughout the encounter.

Francis led the charge with four goals (14′, 24′, 24′, 31′), while Hamilton secured his hat-trick with strikes in the 29th, 34th, and 38th minutes. The scoring was initiated by Rajael Parchment in the 8th minute, followed by Ajahrie Hosier‘s contribution in the 11th minute, before Matthew added his name to the scoresheet in the 26th minute.

The scheduled matches between Westham FC and Guydadli FC at Princess Margaret School grounds, and Glanvilles FC versus Young Lions FC at Glanvilles were postponed, with new dates to be announced.
