The rocky start to the 2019/2020 academic year at the Antigua State College (ASC) continues, as it announced a further delay to the start of classes on Friday.
The college had previously indicated that the start of classes within the departments of Business, Industrial Technology (formerly Engineering), Liberal Arts (formerly ‘A’ Levels) and Pharmacy had been delayed to Monday, September 9th.
However, a recent announcement on the ASC’s official Facebook page stated that the start of classes in the Department of Pharmacy and Aircraft Maintenance is scheduled for September 9th, while classes in all other Industrial Technology programmes, Business and Liberal Arts, are now rescheduled for September 16th.
An Identification Card photo session, scheduled for students within the Department of Liberal Arts on September 6th, was also scrapped.
The next arranged photo session is advertised to be Friday, September 13th at 10am.
