John Hughes Flyers triumphed over Black Lightning in what turned out to be the lone game contested in the Antigua and Barbuda Netball Association (ABNA) league on Monday at the YMCA Sports Complex.
Playing in the Mixed Division, John Hughes Flyers won the contest by a 29-12 margin with Akiel Hazelwood leading the charge with 24 of 37 attempts. Rayana Regis chipped in with one of two attempts while Jamila Fitz scored four of 11 tries.
For Black Lightning, Karol Carlton sank six of eight attempts, Zaine Frederick scored four of eight and Lorelei Lapps netted two from five attempts.
Meanwhile, Assassins won by default over Flyballers.
