Five overseas-based players have been named in a 22-member national under-20 football squad to represent Antigua and Barbuda in Group B of the Concacaf U20 Men’s Tournament staring February 23 here in Antigua.
Goalkeepers Taj Moore (FC London) and Tegan Gombs (Rockford High School, Michigan, USA) head the list. They are joined by midfielder and Captain, Aiden Jarvis (Red Bulls FC, USA), defender Davian Gumbs (Northern Michigan University, USA) and midfielder Christopher Douglas (The WEBB School, Tennessee, USA).
Antigua and Barbuda will compete against Suriname, Guyana, El Salvador and Turks and Caicos, as they vie for a chance to qualify for the next round as only one team will advance from what is expected to be a highly competitive group.
Matches will be held daily at 10:30am and 3:30pm, providing ample opportunity for football enthusiasts and supporters to attend the matches.
After round-robin play between February 23 and March 2, the first-placed team from each group will advance to the 2024 Concacaf Men’s U-20 Championship, joining the six pre-seeded top-ranked nations.
Antigua and Barbuda opens its campaign against Guyana on February 23.

The team will be coached by former national striker, Kerry Skepple with Auchland Jarvis and Gason Gregory as his deputies. Janiel Simon is named goalkeeper coach, trainer is Coull Graham, physiotherapist is McClean Lawrence, while Lakesha Samuel is equipment manager and Launee Richards is team psychologist.
