Farm break losing streak, Tigers salvage draw in First Division

Sea View Farm shook a poor run of form to break a four game losing streak on Thursday, beating Hill Top 2- 0 in a bottom of the table clash in the Antigua and Barbuda Football Association (ABFA) First Division competition. Playing at home, Sea View Farm had goals from Kevin Warner and Zafy Sampson in minutes 26 and 32 respectively, as they won only their second match in 11 showings.

They move to seven points, but still second from bottom in the standings. Hill Top, after what was their eighth loss in 11 showings, remain rooted at the bottom of the 12 team standings with just three points.

Meanwhile, a 59th minute strike from Keon Green salvaged a draw for Potters Tigers as they came from behind to grab a point against Police. Playing at the Police Recreation Ground (PRG), the lawmen opened the scoring in minute 17 through a strike from Anthony Scott.

Green then found the equalizerin the second half, as Potters move to 15 points and fifth in the standings. Police are in the ninth position with 11 points after two wins, four losses and five draws. The encounter between Lion Hill and Ottos Rangers did not take place due to a scheduling mix-up.
