Eye Mobile dominate Vertex, Harris lead Fearless Crew

Wadadli Elite Eye Mobile powered to a remarkable 78-point victory over Police Vertex in Division Three of the Antigua and Barbuda Basketball Association (ABBA) competition on Monday, opening their 2020 campaign on a winning note.

Teran Zachariah led Eye Mobile’s charge with 30 points, while Tsean Lewis and Ronde Davis sank 19 and 17 points each. Reshaun Harry, playing off the bench, contributed with 18 points as Eye Mobile hammered Vertex 114-36. Cornell Tittle led the scoring for Vertex with 11 points.

There was victory as well for Ottos Coolers as they defeated Rebels 80-48 to win by 32 points.

Lincoln Weekes was on target for Coolers, dropping 42 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. Kirwan Peterson picked up 14 points for Rebels.

Meanwhile, Rafiki Harris registered 21 points to lead Fearless Crew to a 64-50 victory over Max Fernandez Gunners. Harris was assisted by Ralph Spooner who had 15 points. Olivee Morris top scored for Gunners with 13 points.

In the other game played on Monday, Court Marshall reprimanded Young Rivals by a 99-81 margin. Baldwin Anthony was on target for the victors with 31 points and 22 rebounds. He was assisted by Delornje Jules and Kenny James who sank 23 and 13 points each. James also grabbed 10 rebounds. Jeffrey George, in a losing effort, hit 32 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, while Raheem Lewis added 17 points to his team’s total.
