English Harbour record impressive first win, Bolans jump to top spot

National Parks English Harbour FC gained their first three points in the Antigua and Barbuda Football Association (ABFA) Division 2 league last Friday with a 6-0 thrashing of Mahico Stars FC.
Playing in Zone 2, the round south team jumped to the 11th spot on the 14-team standings as Otis Polimis found the net twice for the victors.
Teammates, Meiko Meade, Jak-l Bailey, Denroy Browne and Tristan Potter also struck home for English Harbour.
Mahico however continue to have a dismal season as the struggling team have yet to gain a point after six showings.
In the other Zone 2 encounter, Urlings FC and Young Lions FC played to a nil-all draw.
Urlings skipped to the 6th position with eight points while Young Lions moved to the second spot with 13.
Meanwhile in Zone 1, Bolans FC pushed their undefeated streak to 5-0 after edging out CPTSA Wings by a 1-0 margin.
The round south team moved to the top of the 14-team standings with 15 points while Wings dropped to 10th with three.
Tishon Martin scored the winning goal.
In the other Zone 1 encounter, Point WestHam FC handed Hon Molwyn Joseph Bendals a 3-0 trouncing.
WestHam now sit in the second position with 13 points while Bendals remain at the bottom of the table as they have yet to gain a point this season.
