Enforcers emerged 3-2 set winners over High Flyerz in the men’s division of the Antigua and Barbuda Amateur Volleyball Association (ABAVA) league on Saturday at the YMCA Sports Complex.
Enforcers got off to a winning 25-22 start in the opening set before dropping the second and third sets 18-25 and 15-25 to Flyerz. Enforcers however rebounded to claim the fourth and fifth sets 25-12 and 15-13.
Meanwhile in the women’s division, North Coast Hardware Starz 1 beat Paragons by 3-1 set margin. After losing the first set, 16-25, Starz 1 regrouped to take the next three sets 28-26, 25-22 and 25-17 to take the contest.
Action in the league continues on Wednesday when North Coast Hardware Starz 1 face Stoneville in the women’s division at 6:30 pm while, in the men’s division, High Flyerz will battle Sharks.
